Service. I went to several bridal shops searching for the perfect dress. Unfortunately,
the perfect dress was very expensive. I read in a bridal book that Discount Bridal Service
was an excellent way to buy your dream designer dress without paying full price. I
contacted a representative in my area, and she was able to order the exact dress I wanted
straight from the manufacturer. She also ordered in my size so I could save money on the
alterations. When I tried on dresses at the wedding salons the sales staff wrote down an
inappropriate size for me, explaining that each manufacturer had different size charts and
it was better to be safe than sorry later. I learned that these shops offered either
in-house alterations (at your expense), or received compensation from an outside
seamstress for the referrals. * * * * I wanted to write to you and thank you for all your help. You were so sweet and helpful-quite a different attitude from the salespeople that I met in the bridal shops...I have talked up DBS to everyone who will listen. All brides should have it this good! The DBS dealer who worked with me was great. My entire bridal party was able to secure all of our dresses through DBS. The dresses cost 30% less than the many bridal shops we visited.
